City Planner

I think Brockton needs a city planner so it can right the wrongs that have been happening to the city for many years,  There needs to be a commitment to improving the urban environment, avoiding environmental harm, preserving historical features, and pulling the community together to determine a united vision to restore Brockton to be the city of vision that it was in the early 1900's.  A City Planner can generate energy among people of all neighborhoods in the community to identify the positive and negative things about the city and develop short and long term plans to collectively achieve goals.  The planner takes the ideas of the community and puts them into words and diagrams so the community can see that there is a plan to follow.  Then, the planner assesses success and constantly reminds the community of its commitment to the plan, the progress made, and the tasks yet to be done.  So, the planner is a cheerleader, a tactician, a developer of positive ideas, and a recognizable advocate for Brockton to stay the course toward achieving success to be the best community it can be
